Francis Marion

I stayed 2 nights at the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston. It was beautiful! Normally I believe it is one of the higher end hotels in Charleston, but I found a great rate on cheaptickets website. The hotel is very nice and the bed is wonderful! My fiancee and I had the Easter Brunch which was delicious. The starbucks downstairs is very convenient! And room service is awesome. We ordered chocolate cake and ice cream and a bottle of wine and it was seved with a smiling server dressed in a neat service outfit! I love the time I spent at the Francis Marion.

  1. U look like a true military man now...not the little Matthew I remember seeing! Oh Alexandra, I've never met you but you are one lucky woman...they just don't make them like this anymore, trust me I've been searching a long time! If only I were 10 years younger, less 3 children(don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade em for the world), and you hadn't already met the love of your life? I'm so screwed...Matt and Tony(dad) taken, I might as well give up! Seriously though, congratulations on your engagement you two! You have a wonderful life to look forward too, but enjoy the present because you'll never get it back! Always remember the consuming feeling of being in love that you have right now, you'll need to cling to it for all the tests you'll face. Alexandra, stay strong...as the daughter of a Navy man I know there are some lonely times for the spouses at home, but Matt is worth the short-lived sadness you'll feel when you have to face the mornings without his face to strengthen you. It's tough, but it also makes you a stronger couple in the end...your relationship will be a testament to the bond that facing challenges together can build. Enough with my book already, I know! Matt, enjoy Hawaii...I am so envious! Best wishes and God bless you both!

    Always,
    Stacy~
