Rakin Leaves

Today we raked the leaves. Colton and Delaney came over to help my dad and I. They were hard workers, and did it out of the grace of their hearts, they didn't expect or want any type of payment...what good kids!

Babysitting

Today I Babysat my Godchild! She's so adorable!

Lunchtime Visits

I had lunch with Corbin at school. We brought him Mcdonalds. I got a lot of attention, the 9 year old girls thought my uniform had a cape and it was too small for me.

After lunch Toni and I went to Target to look at DS games and a man and his boy stopped me to thank me for serving the country and keeping himself and his boy safe. It's nice hearing things like that, because many times I forget that my job is important and serves a higher purpose. Its good to have little reminders to help me remember why I joined.

The next day I went to 3 lunches with Lori.
First we had lunch with Delaney. Delaney was excited, and we brought all the kids cupcakes since we couldn't bring everyone food. We brought Tom subway though, because it was originally Lori's idea to go have lunch with Tom and then we decided to see all the kids there.

After lunch with Delaney it was time
for Colton, he didn't know we were coming
and I think he would have preferred to have
a heads up because he was a little
embarassed. But atleast we got a picture!

Lunchtime Visits Continued...

Then it was time for lunch with Tom,
he was happy to see us. Apparently one of his
friends didn't believe that I was in the Navy,
so Tom pointed to me in my uniform and
said see I told you so!

Then we went to pick up Dani from High School.
She was very happy that we picked her up,
I don't think she was too thrilled that we
wanted to take pics in front of the school,
but the pic turned out nice!

Here's the same pic after Dani modified it,
LOL!

Francis Marion

I stayed 2 nights at the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston. It was beautiful! Normally I believe it is one of the higher end hotels in Charleston, but I found a great rate on cheaptickets website. The hotel is very nice and the bed is wonderful! My fiancee and I had the Easter Brunch which was delicious. The starbucks downstairs is very convenient! And room service is awesome. We ordered chocolate cake and ice cream and a bottle of wine and it was seved with a smiling server dressed in a neat service outfit! I love the time I spent at the Francis Marion.

Save the Last Dance

Tonight we went to our last "Practice Session" at Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Mt Pleasant. It was fun. Kevin and Lauren came too, which is good, because they were our ride also.
Normally Alexandra makes me dance with lots of other people and won't dance with me as much as she did, but since it was our last one she danced with me TONS! It was great since the whole reason I enjoy going is to dance with her. We look forward to continuing dancing someday, hopefully we can find more friendly dance studios like this one, but it will never be the same. We hope when we come back to visit Charleston the same instructors work there so we can catch up and have fun with them again, because they are what makes this dance studio the great dance studio that it is.
P.S. "Our Dance" at the wedding will be fabulous!

I have no Transportation!

I haven't felt this way in a long time, I have no transportation other than my feet.
Today I dropped the truck off to be shipped, it took a lot longer than I expected it would, but I'm glad that it did, it made me feel that it will be safer and more official that way. After the paper work was done I had to wait for an inspector to look at the inside and outside of the truck and she also removed the floor mats and the rubber cup holders and cigarette lighter (anything removable). Then she got a wrench and attempted to remove my antennae.

SNAP!

The antennae snapped off, and she was like..."Sh*t". But oh well, It will be paid for. I had the option of repairing it here, but I dont have time for that, so I will make a claim in Hawaii to get it fixed. Hopefully everything else goes off without a hitch.

Homeless

Today was a sad day...I became homeless...

The movers showed up around 8:30, and I was shocked to see the size of their truck! It was basically a semi! Well maybe it was 3/4 the length of a semi truck, but either way it was big! They had to check out the area to figure out how to maneuver the truck on the property.

The movers were very happy to see that I really do only have 2,000 pounds. They said most people who estimate 2,000 pounds actually have like 4,000. It didn't take them very long to get everything packed up and ready to load. And they got it all into 1 big crate.

I am sad to be leaving, I'm not ready to move. I wish I could just pack Alexandra up in my seabag and take her everywhere with me. But we love each other very much and we will be strong and pull through. We will be getting married next year, and live a lifetime together happy, healthy and with kids! I love you sweetie! The Navy brought us together, and we are thankful for that. Now we owe the Navy a couple deployments and then we will move on with our lives and live HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

Qualified!

I passed my final oral board for ELT quals!  That makes me a qualified ELT on the MTS-635.  The good thing is that training is complete.  The bad thing is that now I have to graduate and move to Hawaii...It sounds like that should be an exciting thing, but I'm not ready to leave my fiancee.
But we will be fine, we love each other very much and we will be getting married next year and then she will be joining me in Hawaii and life will be GOOD!  I can't wait for that!
